Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE)
The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates is the monetary authority of the UAE, responsible for managing monetary policy, issuing currency, regulating and supervising the banking sector, and maintaining financial stability. Established in 1980, the CBUAE also oversees the payment and settlement systems and licensing of financial institutions. It plays a key role in the UAE's ambition to be one of the world's leading international financial centers.
