The British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission is the territory's single integrated financial services regulator, responsible for the licensing, supervision, and development of financial services in and from the British Virgin Islands. Established under the Financial Services Commission Act 2001, the BVI FSC oversees investment business, banking, insurance, and company management. The BVI is one of the world's most significant offshore financial centres, and the FSC is widely used by international brokers and fund managers seeking an offshore regulatory framework.
